AIRAH Awards 2020 – DeltaQ Finalists

We are incredibly excited to learn that two of DeltaQ\’s leadership team have been announced as finalists in the AIRAH awards, to be announced on Tuesday November 10th.

Grace Foo is a finalist for the hotly contended Future Leader award for her pivotal role in government policy development work, such as the 2019 Section J revision, expansion of NABERS to other sectors, impact of changing climate on building energy and design, and future-proofing buildings for integration of distributed energy resources.

James Spears is a finalist for the W.R. Ahern Award, which recognises the best technical paper published in Ecolibrium (the official journal of AIRAH). James\’ paper \”Improving pump efficiency – A combination of regulation and good design\” was published in the December 2019 edition. The paper explored the various factors that impact the overall efficiency of a pumping system and presented an empirical model to help predict the best achievable efficiency for a given pressure and flow.
